Remove & re-add your Google account to your device
This will remove your Google Account from your device and then re-add it.
Tip: When you remove your account, some information will be removed from your device. Information that is linked to your Google Account that is backed up in the cloud will still be available. Much of the information will return to your device when you add your account back. Make sure any important information is backed up before completing these steps.
First, remove your account:
- On your Android phone or tablet, open your Settings app.
- Tap Accounts.
- Tap the account you want to remove > Remove account.
- If needed, enter your device’s pattern, PIN, or password to finish removing the account.
Next, re-add the account:
- On your Android phone or tablet, open your Settings app.
- Tap Accounts > Add account > Google.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to add your account.
- Open the Google Play Store app.
- At the top right, tap the profile picture.

- Tap the Down arrow > the account you want to use.
- Try your download again.
Beppo and your internet connection
This article is for freelancers who use Beppo.
Tips to improve performance
- If you’re using Beppo from a slower connection, we recommend that you don’t regularly clear your browser’s cache. Despite its benefits, clearing the cache too often can become a pointless activity as it defeats the purpose of improving load times.
- When possible, use Beppo when fewer people are using your internet connection. The more the number of devices is connected to the internet, the more bandwidth is being shared, thus affecting the speed. You can also download large files or content overnight, or outside of the hours where you plan to use Beppo, (when there is less traffic).
- When using Beppo, stay away from data-intensive programs such as streaming video or music websites, or other websites with dynamic content. To identify which applications are data hogs, you can always check your network usage using Activity Monitor in your mobile device’s settings.
Make sure your connection is suitable
We recommend signing up for a free Beppo account to see if you’re happy with how Beppo performs on your current internet connection.
Feel free to populate your account with sample data to check how it functions.
