Founding JuanTax
JuanTax was founded in May 2017, and was initially integrated with the Xero accounting software. As a result of ongoing digital technology innovation, JuanTax’s standalone version was launched in September, which offers automated tax preparation, bookkeeping, and financial reports.
Launch of Initial Products
JuanTax created VAT and Withholding tax forms, as well as a mobile OCR scanning app. Bookkeeping modules for transactions and books of accounts were also added that year.
eTSP Certified
JuanTax became the first BIR-Accredited Tax Solution Provider under the Electronic Tax System Provider Program (eTSP) in the Philippines.
Pandemic
In response to the COVID-19 outbreak, JuanTax launched Fast File in the first half of 2020. This service allows Filipino taxpayers to quickly file and pay their tax returns online from the comfort of their own homes.
New Plan
JuanTax Plus was introduced as the Philippines’ first integrated bookkeeping, tax, and payment platform. During this period, JuanTax Academy was also built, an educational platform by JuanTax that offers training and resources on tax compliance, accounting, and the use of JuanTax’s platform.
Beppo
Beppo was founded as a smart solution for the bookkeeping and tax compliance needs of SMEs and self-employed individuals, with the purpose of providing a user-friendly and effective way for small businesses to manage their bookkeeping needs.
Revenue Growth
Beppo began experiencing a significant surge in revenue, growing over 600%. This growth is driven by an increase in web and mobile users and new client acquisitions.
Funding and Investment
Beppo secures pre-seed funding from Wavemaker Partners and angel investors. This money enabled the acquisition of JuanTax and five pioneering bookkeeping firms.

Beppo Conference and Continued Innovation
The first Beppo Conference (powered by JuanTax)
was an event focusing on small-medium business owners and tax professionals.
The conference took place on August 16, 2024, at the Makati Sports Club, with the theme
“Transforming Philippine Accounting and Accelerating SME Growth through Digital Innovation.”
